Transferring Macros from Parts to Sheets

To move or copy patterns from inside a part on the sheet onto the sheet itself -

Open the part in Sheet View so that a copy of the part appears on the default sheet. Use Select or <F7> and select the part containing the patterns you want to move or copy.

Define the macro, and then use <F7> and click the sheet to make it active. Use Move Macro or Copy Macro and position the macro on the sheet. Click the left mouse button when you are satisfied with the position.

Press <F4> to redraw the screen. You will see the patterns in their new position. If you move patterns onto the sheet, they do not belong to the part; when you switch to PART View, the patterns will have shifted out of the part relative to their new positions on the sheet.
