The Single D option allows you to draw a pattern for a D-shape punch or cutout. You can draw the pattern anywhere within the part on a sheet. |
The system prompts you for the center point, radius, width and angle. The width equals the amount of the radius and the distance to the straight edge. The angle is that of the straight edge. Move the crosshair and note how the values update in the property window. |

If you have a punching system, selecting the tool shapes from your tool inventory may be faster than drawing the Single D pattern. (See Place Tool Hits.) |
You can also type the width as a distance from the center point to the straight edge. Make sure to press <R> after typing the value. Note: To precisely position patterns try the Coordinates feature in the Draw menu. |
