You should save your sheet frequently to prevent data loss during power outages or computer crashes. If you press the <F10> key while in SHEET View, the system saves your sheet under its assigned name in its original folder.
To save the sheet, make sure SHEET View is active. To save the sheet under a new name, select Save As from the File menu to open the Save As dialog box. Type a name in the File name: field. If necessary, click the Save in: arrow and navigate to the desired disk and folder. Click Save to save the sheet file and then click Close to exit.
Loading Sheets
To open a sheet, make sure SHEET View is active. Select Open from the File menu. If necessary, click the Look in: arrow and navigate to the desired drive and folder. Type the file name in the File name: field, or select it in the window. When you click a sheet file, its thumbnail drawing appears on the right of the window. When the correct name is highlighted, click Open to load the file, and then Close to exit.
The system examines the tool inventory that was loaded when the sheet was originally created. If the original tool inventory is not currently loaded, the system asks if you want to load it. Click Yes to load the original inventory or No to keep the current tool inventory.
Next, the system checks the tools in the turret. If any tools from the turret are missing from the tool inventory, a list of missing tools displays. Review the list and click OK to continue. Tools in the inventory must match those in the turret. If you modify the keyed angles of a tool in the inventory after creating a sheet, the system displays an error message. You will need to reassign that tool to the appropriate patterns.
