You can use the mouse, keyboard, Snap Mode or the stepping technique to help you position parts on the sheet.
Mouse
Use the mouse to select and position the part(s). Move the crosshair onto
the part and click the left mouse button to select it. Observe the values
in the Cursor Control Window as you move the part. Click the left mouse
button again when the coordinate values appear correct.
Keyboard
Type the X coordinate, press <Space>, type the Y coordinate and then
press <Enter>.
Snapping
You can snap to known points on other parts or the sheet. Clicking the
right mouse button attaches the crosshair to the closest snap point.
Stepping
Define a step value, and then press any combination of the <Arrow>
keys to step away from another snap point.
Note: When Snap Mode is enabled, clicking the right mouse button activates the snap points in the active part. When Snap Mode is disabled, clicking the right mouse button snaps to the closest snap point no matter which part is active. Therefore, if you want to snap to another part, press <F2> until you disable Snap Mode. You can then snap to the other part. When you specify the new position, the part moves to the correct location.
