When you design a part in PART View, the system automatically places the new design on the current sheet. You will see the new design on the sheet when you select Sheet from the View menu.
If you want to load additional parts onto the sheet, select Open from the File menu. Click the Files of type: arrow and select Parts (*.prt). If necessary, navigate to the desired drive and directory using the Look in: folder list. Type the file name, or select the name in the Open File window.
When you have highlighted the correct file, click Open to load it onto the sheet. If you load a part that was saved with tools, and those tools are not contained in the current inventory, the system displays a warning and a list of missing tools. When you are finished reviewing the list, click OK to continue.
Repeat the procedure for each part you want to load on the sheet. When you have loaded the desired parts, click Close to exit the Open File dialog box.
Notes: Your computer must have sufficient memory (RAM) if you want to load multiple parts onto the sheet. You may have to experiment to determine how many parts you can safely load onto a sheet.
If you want more than one copy of the same part on the sheet, load it only once and then use the Copy… or Grid… options on the Sheet menu to replicate the part.
