The Copy Patterns option allows you to replicate a pattern. You can continue to create duplicates of the selected pattern until you move the pointer out of the work area.
Example: Copying a Pattern
You have a 0.5 radius round hole at 2X 2Y, and you want to copy it to 4X 7Y. Create a new 10 x 10 part. Draw a 0.5 radius round hole at 2X 2Y. Select Copy Patterns from the Edit menu. Move into the work area and click the round hole to select it.
The copy follows the crosshair. Type 4 <Space> 7 <Enter>. The copy appears on the part. Observe the values in the Cursor Control pane and property window. To cancel, move the pointer out of the work area. The system informs you that it is ready to copy a different pattern.
