The reference point for a part appears in the lower left corner by default. However, you may want to move the reference point to make drawing objects more convenient.

Note: Other options that require the use of a reference point will use the new reference point until you specify another reference point.

Select Reference Point from the Edit menu and move into the work area. Move the pointer to the new position, or type the X and Y coordinates and press <Enter>. The new reference point appears as indicated in the illustration below:
