Managing Attributes

Sequence features that consist of multiple attributes can become very complex. You may edit or add attributes that result in an unexpected or unwanted outcome. The options described in this section will help you manage the attributes placed on the parts.

    Clear Attributes

The Clear Attributes option on the Sequence Features menu allows you to select which type of attribute you want to remove from the part. The Clear Attributes dialog lists the types of attributes you can remove. A check mark next to an attribute name indicates that it will be removed when you click OK.

When you click OK, the system prompts you to confirm. Press <Y> for Yes to clear the selected attributes, or <N> for No to cancel.

Note: You have the option to uncheck any attribute in the list. All attributes are independent of each other, so any options can be checked or unchecked without affecting the remaining attributes.

Undo Attribute
To reverse the last attribute modification, select Undo Attribute from the Sequence Features menu. The option allows you to eliminate the last action you performed using the Add Attribute and Edit Attribute options.

Redo Attribute

To repeat the last attribute modification, select Redo Attribute from the Sequence Features menu. The option allows you to repeat the last action you performed using the Add Attribute and Edit Attribute options.

Check Attributes

To determine whether cutting attributes or pre-punch tools invade the geometry of other patterns or parts, select Check Attributes from the Sequence Features menu. The software will analyze the attributes and pre-punch tools for interference. If the system detects interference, it will display the attributes or pre-punch tools in a red color.
