Delete Part

The Delete option on the Sheet menu removes a selected part from the sheet.

Notes:

When you delete a part, the tools and sequencing associated with it are reset. Tools and sequencing for the remaining parts are unaffected.

If you delete a part that is an element of a grid, then the entire grid is deleted.

If you are deleting all parts from a tooled and sequenced sheet, you should clear the tools and reset the sequence before deleting the parts. This reduces the time required by the system to clear the parts and sequencing while it deletes the parts. It also ensures that no stray special sequence items remain in the sequence after the part is deleted.

If the parts on the sheet overlap, you may need to click the right mouse button to toggle between parts.

Deleting a Part

To delete a part, select Delete from the Sheet menu. Move the crosshair over the part you want to delete. Click the left mouse button to select (highlight) the part. Once the correct part appears highlighted, click the mouse again to delete it.

To delete multiple parts at a time, after clicking the Delete button and, while holding down the <Shift> key, drag out a box around the parts to be deleted. Finally, left-click one more time to delete.
