If you want to cancel a drawing operation, move the crosshair out of the work area. While this feature is convenient if you selected the wrong pattern type, you should be careful not to move the crosshair out of the work area when actually attempting to complete a drawing operation.
IMPORTANT!
Remember that when you complete a pattern, you can access its property window and modify any of the parameters. If you need to modify a pattern, select the Edit Patterns option from the Edit menu. (See Edit.)
